Google Play to Display AI-Generated FAQs and Latest YouTube Videos for Games

Google revealed a variety of new capabilities for the game categories on Google Play, such as the incorporation of native desktop game production powered by AI FAQs, an overview of the most recent videos on YouTube, and integrated ad styles. The statements were announced in San Francisco during the annual Google for Gaming Developers Summit.

The business is offering new Google Play Store advertising tools as a component of the launch to draw in additional users. Developers can include the newest clips from YouTube and ads in their descriptions. Customers will see them under the Play Store’s Gaming area.

Additionally, Google is adding assistance to AI-powered FAQs to the English version of the application’s informational website. These functionalities are now being made available to a restricted group of developers. The business has been testing AI-generated FAQ responses for non-gaming applications on the Google Play Store for a while.

Play Points and Play Pass

Further, Google enables programmers to configure discounts for customers holding Play Pass subscriptions to encourage additional in-app transactions. Furthermore, later in the year, the multinational IT company plans to introduce the service through subscriptions in Korea.

Additionally, the business is now letting game developers use Play Points, a loyalty program offered by the Play Store and initially launched in 2019, for special in-app purchases. The Play Points program will also be extended to Brazil the following year. According to the business, the loyalty program has grown to almost two hundred and twenty million participants across over thirty-five markets.

Fresh advertising goods

Advertising continues to be Google’s primary source of income. As a result, the business is launching fresh ad options for game creators. The launch of realistic in-game advertisements, which Google says will mix with the gaming experience throughout categories, is one of the most significant modern developments. With its AdMob structure, the business offers this structure with position points like level advancements and interval pauses.

The business is also promoting solutions that programmers can use to promote sales. Initially, it gives game developers access to a standard uninstallation list, which lets them see who removed the app. In addition, programmers can now focus on groups of users, such as those who have yet to make an order in the past seven days, who have never made a payment in the past, or who are expired customers.

Assistance with PC games

Google has expanded the availability of its Play Video Games for Desktop service to over 120 nations in the past several years. The initiative’s introduction aimed to enable computer users to engage in Android games. The business plans to permit publishers to list native games on the Google Play Store for personal computers.

According to Google, games like Solo Leveling: Arise are scheduled to release later this year. However, Labels like Lineage2M, Odin: Valhalla Rising, Genshin Impact, and Dragonheir: Silent Gods are currently playable.
